Morning clouds are washed before sunrise so they can drift lightly across the horizon. The pale sheets that cover the moon are rinsed in silver water, while sunset ribbons are folded carefully so their colors do not fade.
All of this work depends on a hidden system known as the Laundryline Weave.
Beneath the folding floor lies a network of soft channels carrying fresh water, bubble light, and clean wind from one room to another. Every towel shelf, drying station, and cloud-folding table must remain connected to this flow. When the paths are aligned, the laundry loft feels alive. Bubbles rise through glass pipes, fabric moves gently in the breeze, and the great washing rooms glow with morning color.
One day, a powerful gust entered through an open drying window. It spun the path tiles beneath the loft, twisting corners away from one another and breaking the routes between the Wash Sources and the folded targets. The water stopped moving. How to Play Laundryline Weave
The board is made of square laundry tiles containing different path shapes. Some paths are straight. Others bend around corners, split into several directions, or form a complete four-way crossing.
Tap or click a movable tile to rotate it ninety degrees clockwise. Your goal is to align the openings on neighboring tiles so the fresh flow can travel continuously from a Wash Source to every folded target on the board.
A connected route lights up with a brighter blend of sky blue, mint, cream, and bubble light. This visual feedback lets you see exactly how far the flow has traveled. If a path ends against the solid side of another tile, the light stops there. You must rotate one or more nearby pieces to continue the route.
The level is complete only when every target receives the flow. Connecting one target is not enough if another remains dark. Some puzzles require one long branching network, while others ask you to guide several paths from multiple sources through different sections of the board.
Understand the Wash Sources and Folded Targets
Every route begins at a Wash Source. These special tiles generate the fresh bubble flow that powers the laundry loft. They are fixed in place and cannot be rotated, so the surrounding tiles must be arranged to carry their energy outward.
The destinations are known as folded targets. They represent shelves, linen stations, and small work areas waiting for clean water and air. A target lights up when a continuous valid path connects it to any active Wash Source.
Early levels use a single source and only a few targets. This gives you time to learn how connections work. Later puzzles may include two Wash Sources placed far apart. A folded target can receive flow from either source, creating several possible routes and requiring you to decide which direction is more efficient.
The most satisfying moment arrives when the final target lights up. The entire network glows, bubbles shimmer across the board, and the laundry loft celebrates the return of fresh flow.
Clothespin Locks and Fixed Laundry Tiles
Not every tile can be rotated. Some pieces are held in place by a small cloud clothespin lock. These fixed tiles are already aligned as part of the intended solution and must remain exactly where they are.
A locked tile may initially feel like a restriction, but it is also a clue. Because its direction cannot change, it tells you something important about the paths surrounding it. You can examine where its openings lead and use that information to determine the correct orientation of nearby movable tiles.
Tapping a locked tile produces a small visual bump and a soft sound, reminding you that it cannot be turned. No move is counted, so accidental taps do not harm your rating.
As the levels grow more complex, several locked tiles may appear across the same board. They create stable anchors inside an otherwise flexible puzzle, encouraging you to solve the layout by working outward from known connections.
Four-Way Junctions and Expanding Networks
Later levels introduce four-way laundry junctions. These special pieces carry fresh flow in every direction at once and remain fixed in place.
A junction can connect the upper, lower, left, and right sections of a board, making it one of the most important pieces in a large layout. It may serve as the center of a branching network, allowing one Wash Source to reach several folded targets through different routes.
However, a junction is useful only when the surrounding tiles are properly aligned. One incorrect corner can prevent an entire side of the board from receiving fresh flow. This makes larger puzzles less about rotating random pieces and more about understanding how separate regions depend on one another.
The board gradually grows from compact four-by-four arrangements into larger layouts with up to seven rows and seven columns. More space brings more possibilities, but it also requires greater patience. A route that appears correct near the source may still lead into a dead end several tiles away.
Fifty Levels Across the Cloud Laundry Loft
Laundryline Weave includes fifty levels arranged as a long journey through the floating laundry world. Each stage has its own name, atmosphere, and pattern, beginning with gentle routes such as First Laundry Thread and gradually moving toward more demanding layouts like Grand Laundry Layout, Fifty Bright Drops, and Final Morning Fold.
The earliest levels use smaller boards and fewer targets. Their purpose is to teach the visual language of the game without long instructions. You learn how a corner connects, how a straight tile changes direction, and how the glowing flow responds after every turn.
As you advance, the board expands. More targets appear, fixed clothespin tiles become common, and four-way junctions begin linking distant parts of the layout. Eventually, two Wash Sources may be active at once, creating puzzles with several possible connection paths.
Your unlocked levels and completion ratings are stored on the device. You can leave the laundry loft and return later without losing your progress. The Laundry Map allows you to revisit completed stages, improve an earlier rating, or continue from the newest unlocked route.
Earn a Better Rating With Fewer Moves
Every level has a target number of moves known as par. Completing the puzzle close to or below this number earns a stronger rating.
The rating system rewards efficient thinking rather than speed. There is no countdown pressuring you to act. You can study the board for as long as necessary before rotating a tile. The challenge is to understand the network well enough to avoid unnecessary turns.
A three-mark rating means you solved the route with excellent efficiency. Two marks show a strong solution with a few extra rotations, while one mark confirms that the laundry line was successfully restored even if the path required more experimentation.
This system makes every completed level meaningful while still allowing relaxed play. You can solve a difficult puzzle using trial and error, unlock the next stage, and return later when you are ready to search for a cleaner solution.
Undo Mistakes and Use Hints Thoughtfully
The Undo button restores your previous rotation and reduces the move counter accordingly. It is useful when a tile was turned accidentally or when a promising route suddenly breaks after one incorrect decision.
Undo does not erase the entire puzzle. It simply lets you step backward one move at a time, making experimentation feel safe. You can test a possible connection, observe how the fresh flow changes, and reverse the turn when it does not lead where expected.
The Hint system highlights one movable tile that still differs from its correct orientation. It also tells you how many clockwise turns that tile requires. The hint does not complete the level automatically. You must still understand how the suggested piece fits into the wider route.
Hints are especially helpful on larger boards where one incorrectly rotated tile can hide among dozens of connected pieces. They provide a gentle nudge without removing the satisfaction of completing the network yourself.

Wash Sources appear as luminous bubble cores, while folded targets resemble small stacks or laundry labels waiting to be refreshed. Clothespin locks clearly mark fixed tiles, and four-way junctions remain visually distinct from ordinary path pieces.
The interface stays compact so the puzzle remains the center of attention. Level, Moves, and Lines Lit are shown above the board. Restart, Undo, Hint, and Laundry Map remain accessible without covering the grid.

Rotating a tile produces a small rising bubble tone. Buttons respond with a soft tap. Locked tiles create a muted fabric-like sound, while Undo gently reverses the previous note. A hint plays a clear but delicate chime, and completing a level triggers an ascending sequence that feels like fresh air passing through the restored lines.
Sound is active by default and can be muted from the upper-left control area. The preference is saved, so the game remembers whether you prefer to play with sound or in silence.
